Welcome to ASPE Johnstown!
Welcome to the Johnstown Chapter of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) web page. The Johnstown Chapter was originally formed as a Satellite Chapter of Pittsburgh in April of 1999 by Jim Spinelli and Steve Kormanik who attended the Pittsburgh Chapter meetings. The first Johnstown meeting was held on September 22nd, 1999 at Rizzo’s in Windber, PA. Shortly after being approved as a Satellite Chapter, the chapter members and members of the board were supportive in the decision of Johnstown pursuing the Charter Status. The petition was approved by the Society Board and on Wednesday, September 20th, 2000 the Johnstown Chapter was inducted as the 60th Chapter.
